TESTAMENT Will NOT Play U.K. In June; XENTRIX And Others To Continue With Gig
May 18, 2006Despite a previous announcement to the contrary, San Francisco Bay Area metallers TESTAMENT will **NOT** be playing at Rio in Braford, England on June 3. "We were told that the Bradford gig was confirmed and there was a possibility of XENTRIX being added to the lineup at the other U.K. dates," reactivated U.K. thrashers XENTRIX write on their web site. "We can only apologize to the people who saw our gig page on this site and have bought a ticket believing that TESTAMENT would be playing. We believed it also.
"XENTRIX have agreed to continue with the Bradford gig together with ONSLAUGHT and the addition of U.K. thrashers EVILE, HEADLESS CROSS and PITIFUL REIGN."
XENTRIX recently played several gigs in the U.K. with their original lineup but have made it clear that they "aren't reforming."
XENTRIX is:
Dennis Gasser - Drums
Paul "Macka" MacKenzie - Bass
Kristian "Stan" Havard - Guitar
Chris Astley - Guitar/Vocals
XENTRIX released four albums on Roadrunner Records: "Shattered Existence" (1989),"For Whose Advantage" (1990),"Dilute to Taste" (1991) and "Kin" (1992). They also issued "Scourge" (1996) on Heavy Metal Records with Simon Gordon on vocals and Andy Rudd on guitar.
